Whether it’s an idea, a herb or a farm – everything starts with a seed. It was just an idea – to bring passionate fine dining to the Mossel Bay restaurant scene with a focus on fresh ingredients and contemporary cuisine with a South African twist. Chef Emile is passionate about people and using food in innovative and creative ways to create an environment where the aromas, textures, sights and tastes tell stories of friendship that erase any boundaries separating us. Bahia Bleu and Chef’s Emporium has turned this idea into reality.
This platform was founded to teach food lovers how to craft the food they love and to help them grow personally along the way. My hands-on style of teaching appeals to those cooking meals at home and aspiring chefs alike. As a chef, I have been crafting food since 2006. It’s through my interaction with clients that I recognized the great appreciation people have for food while lacking the confidence to explore creative cooking. My enthusiasm for teaching led to the establishment of a chef school under the same roof as my restaurants. This way, students can learn first-hand how to craft the food experiences that clients love. Beyond the chef school, I started doing cooking demos at one of my restaurants for food enthusiasts to expand their repertoire. Before long, demand for online demos arose, and here I am, bringing the adventure right into your kitchen! My team and I are committed to helping you achieve excellence and “wow” your friends and family with your cooking skills. Join us for fun and laughter as we forge friendships over meals.
