He holds a postgraduate diploma in Knowledge and Information Systems Management, an MBA, and a doctorate in Leadership in Performance and Change. With extensive experience in marketing, training, and public service at the executive level, Florus has played a pivotal role in crafting and implementing various skills development policies and processes. His expertise is recognized nationally, having served on the National Skills Authority and the Human Resource Development Council of South Africa, and collaborated on multiple projects with the International Labour Organization. Currently, he coordinates skills development for the Garden Route District Municipality and serves as a council member for the South Cape TVET College and the Western Cape Community College.
