Born out of a passion for conservation, Earth Drones was originally founded by a pair of budding drone pilots with a mission to save the planet. With rapidly changing Technology, Earth Drones carved a market in the Land Reform and Water Management industries, by focussing on the measurement and management of Alien Vegetation. Expansion into Plant Health, Industrial Stock Counting and 3D Modelling helped grow the Company into a Niche Drone Company. As the Company grew, 2 of the original 4 founder members and shareholders were bought out. Earth Drones (Pty) Ltd is currently owned and run by the Father and Son team of Andrew and David Rogers. We are supported by a number of insourced pilots and other experts on a project basis, as required. David Rogers is a UAV pilot and has experience flying Ag Drones in mountainous terrain. He is a qualified Pest Control Operator (PCO) specialising in Aerial Application. Previously David gained 10 years’ experience in Corporate South Africa. David is responsible for the day-to-day operations and customer relationships.
